Coron Bay, Coron

(4.8/5 based on 280+ reviews on the web)
Picture perfect Coron Bay boasts small volcanic islands jutting out from the aquamarine sea, fine sand beaches, and diverse seascape. Explore the bay and look for numerous remote beaches with views of the jagged rock formations, or enjoy drinks and meals in the more tourist-oriented beaches. Famous for housing one of the best-preserved shipwrecks from World War II, the bay offers excellent snorkeling and diving. Huge war vessels, with some reaching over 100 m (328 ft) in length, now serve as a home to numerous coral formations and schools of fish. • We've been to Coron, via El Nido. The ticket costs 1750 pesos by the fastest boat and 1400 by slower. Unfortunately we left to book at the last minute and too fast. They said that the other takes 6 hours to get there. Do not be fooled! Takes 8 hours. The boat has 2 floors. I don't know how, but if you choose to go under, sit in front, away from the engine, as it has less noise and less odor. Around 11 hours, rice is served with vegetables, a banana and a bottle of water. In other words, take food or snack because theirs is not very attractive. Missing 1 hour to close the path, my sister went very badly. When we got to the hotel, the first thing he asked me was if we came from El Nido, because apparently the water is very bad for tourists. I confirmed it when three hs then also got sick. The port to the hotels we took a tricycle for 15 pesos each. Booked in the same hotel, the Ultimate Tour, which is complete and included the Bantayan Lagoon. At the time of the walk we found out that it was closed and the ride was replaced by Barracuda Lake. He is beautiful, but not as much as the Bantayan. Too bad, because it's almost the only thing to do in Coron. The ride to the beaches tb was canceled because of the tide. I didn't think it was worth the walk.
