Sumilon Island, Cebu Island
(3.9/5 based on 140+ reviews on the web)
Explore an underwater world in one of the many dive spots on Sumilon Island, a chance to take a peek at some of the colorful reefs alive with marine life. Running into a small shark while diving is common here, so don't be surprised if you see one yourself. If you don't fancy diving, take a swim or walk in the clear blue waters that surround the island. At low tide, walk along the white sandbar. Grab a bite to eat at one the restaurants found on or near the beach. As the sand can be full of sharp shells, be sure to bring appropriate beach footwear. • We went for the Thalatta Resort for a diving day trip with Whale Watching Oslob and Sumilon Island. We had lunch not far from the island on our boat. The island appeared paradise with its beach, also, the seabed covered with corals with turquoise water. We have then been immersed in phase of the resort which is located on the island to observe sharks blacktip. Our Dive Master told us not to be sure to observe them. But under the water, we saw a shark black tip (4 or 5 different) ballet, which is very impressive. One of the best diving with my stay at the Philipinnes. So recommend.
