Tops Lookout, Cebu City

Categories: Observation Decks, Tourist Spots
Inspirock Rating:
4/5 based on 550+ reviews on the web
See the remarkable scenery of the surrounding green mountains and the bustling port-city below at Tops Lookout. The vantage point stands around 600 m (1,968 ft) above the city's skyline, from where you can observe high structures such as churches, universities, hotels, and a cable-stayed bridge. To reach the site, take a 20-minute motorbike or car ride to the top, where a rather otherworldly scene unfolds. Architecturally, the whole structure ornamented with tropical flowers rests on a hexagon-pattern plateau with concrete and stone indoor rooms subdivided by circular entrances. After taking in the panoramic view, head to the surrounding snack bars or stores for food and drinks, and visit the souvenir shop for quality memorabilia. • We were here early morning. The city view was spectacular. This place has an entrance fee of P100/head which is the same amount for kids 6 years above. (Kids 6 years and below are free of charge). Rec...  read more »
  • Pretty one of the higher points in Cebu. Hotels will list it as one of sites to visit but pretty much average to be honest. There's a 100 PHP entrance fee but seems to be nothing much inside of it apa...  read more »
  • Very good view, amazing on a clear day. Ee took a white taxi and driver waited for us outside. No need more than one hour, even less. The way to and from lovely. Be ready with camera
  • Driving all the way up to this place is surely a thrilling experience. It was night time when I visited the place with a friend and we had a crazy time because the road going up there was dark. It was a bit scary and all worthwhile anyway. It was an enjoyable ride. I was driving an automatic transmission car and I do not know how bad would it be on manual. I'm a lady driver too and I'm not really that much of a pro in driving. On the other note, as we got in the place , it seemed very chilly. You might wanna consider wearing a jacket or long sleeves while visiting there night time. The place was fantastic as I got to enjoy watching the city lights. It was such a dreamy experience, looking at the cityscape and night sky. It would be best if you visit the place a little bit earlier than I had. Maybe you could still catch the sunset and enjoy a long afternoon talk with your buddies or simply enjoy the view of lovely Cebu. Don't also forget to bring your cash as there will be an entrance fee of Php150 or so. Food and drinks might also be pricy.
  • Awesome view at night... Grab some Beers and some bbq and watch the sunset over Cebu... It can get cold I bring a jacket.
  • Nice view over cebu city. Entrance fee is 100 php
  • The view is so nice! You can see Cebu's major cities from the top! :)
  • Best view of the city.
