#4 of 10 in Nature in Camiguin
Hot Spring Nature / Park
Have a good soak at Ardent Hot Springs, tucked into the side of a volcano. The clear, naturally sourced water comes into four separate pools with various temperatures. Spend some time in the hotter ones, and then refresh yourself in the colder ones. The site has a small restaurant, and the surroundings are perfect for a picnic. Expect crowds on weekends and holidays. Plan to visit Ardent Hot Springs and other customer-reviewed, writer-recommended Camiguin attractions using our Camiguin vacation builder.

Where to stay in Camiguin

Although a little off the beaten path, Camiguin certainly offers visitors a fair share of lodging options. The island boasts a number of resorts, ranging from high-end to mid-range and budget bungalows and cottages--you can even stay in a treehouse. Most of the places to stay on Camiguin lie beachside, along its northern coast, but you can find a couple of options inland as well, offering easy access to some of the island's famous natural sights. Camiguin can get busy in the high season, so it might be best to book ahead of time if visiting from March to May.

  • Dunno if it was just coincidental but the evening we were there, the spring was far from being hot. It was a bit of a downer to say the least  more »

  • Hot Spring no more. Only one pool is warm. The rest are all cold. Name should be changed to Ardent "Cold" Spring!
  • Just only one tub left hot among the tubs. CR were not maintained clean and no proper locks and racks for clothes. Some shower room were clogged. No enough lighting at night.
  • A beautiful spring but sadly its not hot anymore. Its lukewarm due to a seismic event. They were full of water on my visit but can go dry during the dry season. Still warm enough to be swam at night which is my recommendation for the best time to visit.
  • Was a bit disappointed because there were no water when we came here
  • No more Ardent Hot Springs ! The springs do not give much water anymore and certainly not hot or even warm water. It has been like that for at least 6 months. Most pools are empty. Do not pay or get a refund. It is becoming a sad scam these days !
