  • The place is superb! it looks very relaxing and the place is so serene. Only, it would be better if the resort has cellphone number and e-mail ad posted on their page or website. our team would like to inquire for we have an upcoming training and we would like to hold it at your place. unfortunately, we cannot reach them because of the absence of the number and e-mail ad. I hope the resort would consider our suggestion. Thank you and God Bless!
  • Place is beautiful but quite pricey considering the development's not yet finished. They require a mandatory cottage of at least 600php when you get there even if you won't stay long. A good place to stay when you want to relax...but you have to reconsider if you plan to stay long. There's not much quite activities to enjoy yet so you might get bored after a day or two. One employee approached us as if we did something wrong only to find out that it was because we didn't pass through their "booking office/front desk office" since no instruction was given at the terminal/entrance. all in all a good place to relax for a day or two that's near the city. Just be sure to bring extra bucks 'coz everything you do on the island requires bucks and not just change :)
  • Good staff. Perfect place for you, friends, and family. Had an awsome sleep. The place is still under construction. Looking forward to its 100% function.
  • Place is cool. But a little messy in back portion of the island. This place is good for family reunion or those who wanted some place to relax.
  • Already a great place considering that they're still less than halfway through their development. A bit on the pricey side, but would be fine for middle class earners and above - for now. They would have an increase in rates as they continue to develop their accommodation. The staff, starting from the mainland till the ones on the island are very friendly and accommodating. (Manang Diding is the best!). After Yolanda, the locals staying in the island were relocated to the mainland. the new management provided jobs for them, which is a good thing. They do not charge corkage for food and drinks, except liquor, so if you are on a tight budget, it is suggested you bring your own food. The food they prepare at the resto is delicious though, and most servings are for sharing, so eating here would not break your wallet as well. the current accommodations they have is already a big improvement than what they had in the previous years. We planned to just sleep on tents, but were not allowed to due to strong winds, so we stayed in one of their bamboo huts that had a living space outside. They have a promo going for the whole month of August so it was a good deal. There are two single beds and added 2 more single mattresses so they were able to fit 4 of us in a room, i think it was a great idea to separate the bathroom from the bedroom to keep most of the sand away. We were not able to fully enjoy the beach because of the big and strong waves on the main beach. we were also hoping to go to their floating restaurant but they decomissioned it for a while because of the weather. The beach on the back part of the island still in a mess as well since they started most of the development on the front part for now. I guess this was not the best time to go to Lakawon, but nonetheless, we still had fun. It is still a great island, and i'm pretty sure that once they finish the planned developments, we could come back again.
