Willy's Rock, Boracay

Categories: Landmarks, Tourist Spots
Inspirock Rating:
3.3/5 based on 800+ reviews on the web
A strangely shaped volcanic rock resembling a battleship stranded during low tide, Willy's Rock becomes an islet during high tide. When the tide is out, climb some dozen steps to reach a small shrine featuring a 1.2 m (3.9 ft) tall statue of the Virgin Mary. The three large rocks on the top of the formation, fringed with a palm tree and some shrubs, make a particularly good photo opportunity. Expect crowds; a bar nearby sells drinks and refreshments.
