Crystal Cove Island, Boracay

3.5
#1 of 7 in Nature in Boracay
Swim and snorkel in pristine blue waters, exploring the hidden gems of Crystal Cove Island, a private island covering 2.5 hectares (6 acres) just off Boracay and Caticlan. Uninhabited but for a few thatched umbrellas, the island makes a perfect relaxation spot. Explore the main attractions here, two small caves with many crystal formations on their walls. A tunnel in the smaller one leads out to another cove, where you'll see the waves splashing against walls. Pay a visit to the small shell museum, displaying all kinds of seashells found in the Philippines. Get here with a 20-minute boat ride from eastern Boracay. • I'm sure for some this place is great, but for me it was disappointing.I'd prefer if they had just kept it natural, there was too much concrete. Some great views and nice spots, like the caves but it ...  more »
  • Went on a private boat ride and visited this Cove. Went early enough, 9am or 10am, and no one was on the island. Went down to some caves and took wonderful pictures with beautiful backgrounds. Very ni...  more »
  • I paid 4,200 for Island hoping for 4. But due to strong wind and waves, Crystal cove is the only island we have visited. Honestly, it's totally waste of time and money. Small cave and some rock format...  more »

  • Crystal Cove Island is one of the spots included in the island hopping tour by Shingley Tours. The island has two natural coves and picturesque view, both for adventure and for sightseeing. You can freely explore the whole island in almost two (2) hours that is given by the tour agent. There's an entrance fee of P200/pax. Date of visit - 4/13/18
  • I don't know. The caves were initially scary to go into, but don't expect much when you actually descend into it. It didn't seem like there were many things to do in the island except take pictures. It is however impressive how the island harnesses solar energy to power up its lights.
  • Very nice place. You need to go by boat. Lay 150pesos for entrance. The 2 main coves to be honest are ok, but not amazing! The toilets are not the best you will see! So if you're suffering from the so called "runs", crystal cove island is not your dream come true! The island itself is very beautiful, greenish, surrounded by beautiful blue waters. One of the coves needs to be accessed by a cave, less than 1m high, like 7meters long, dark. Was pretty great that part. But not if you're claustrophobic. Overall 4*
  • Great tourist place. 2 coves to explore. Cove 2 involves a lot of walking over old volcanic rock. Wear sturdy shoes if you go there. Cove 2 is quite treacherous and will test some peoples desire for adventure
  • Best place near Boracay. Go and take the family. Tip the local dancers so nice
