Crocodile Island, Boracay
Categories: Islands, Nature & Parks
Go scuba diving, snorkeling, or kayaking around Crocodile Island, which resembles a head of a crocodile seen from a distance. Clear waters swarming with marine life surround this uninhabited rocky outcrop that features a beach ideal for secluded swims and group picnics. As you explore, keep an eye out for sea lions and scorpion fish, moray eels, banded sea snakes, snappers, and gorgonian fan corals. Note that the currents around the island are strong, so it's a good idea to visit with a professional diving instructor if you don't feel fully confident in your underwater skills. Went there to dive Oct/2016 and it was really good! The visibility was great and got to see beautiful corals and fishes of all kinds.
Nice area to dive but make sure you go during the right season. Otherwise the water can be not optimal and the weather as well.
