Bohol Habitat Conservation Center, Bohol Island

(2.5/5 based on 320 reviews on the web)
Learn about the life cycle of the region’s many butterflies at Bohol Habitat Conservation Center. The small, netted, leafy enclosure has attentive guides on hand to show you some of the country’s largest moth and butterfly species, down to their tiny eggs and caterpillars. Outside the enclosure, wander through the neighboring garden trail, also a beacon for many wild butterflies attracted to the lush plant life. Take a rest in a tropical setting at the center’s barbecue stand, and don’t forget to ask your guide to take a souvenir photo with the butterfly wings.
