Waterfall Nature / Park
Due to its handsome aspect, Tinuy-an Falls has been featured in numerous international advertisments and affords visitors picturesque photo opportunities. An impressive 95 m (311 ft) wide and soaring 55 m (180 ft) high, the cascade is sometimes referred to as the little Niagara Falls of the Philippines. Regarded as the widest waterfall in the country, the curtain of water descends three tiers through the verdant jungle surroundings. You can ride rafts up to the deluge to enjoy a "water massage," and look out for a rainbow that occurs around the cascade daily between 9 and 11 am, when the rising sun catches the water at just the right angle. Put Tinuy-an Falls on your schedule, and learn what else deserves a visit by using our Surigao del Sur Province itinerary builder.

  • The basin is 30FT deep. Water current is too strong and with limited space to swim! Nothing much to enjoy but just a view of a falls☺️
  • The road is rough... But when you arrive at the place you'll say "the butt numbing experience are all worth it!!!". The government should give budget for the road construction to attract more tourist..
  • Amazing breath taking view of waterfalls & river. Well maintained & clean spot but hope there are more activities for tourists at the site as it's very far from city.
  • Tinuy-an falls is considered as one of Surigao's gems. Don't miss an opportunity to swim and have fun under its mighty waters.
