  • Lake Taal is pretty and clean and, when I was there, calm with flat water. We paid 2000 pesos for the boat to take us to the island and back. According to the posted signs, that is the standard fare, ...  read more »
  • Try to eat at a Filipino restaurant where you can eat bolalo and where it's full of locals. There is one with a view on the lake. Nice place to stay, eat and relax 
  • It was nice and definitely bigger than expected. Took a boat ride to the center peak, so we went on the lake. If you go to see the lake you have to go to see Taal Volcano as well.
