  • i rented a motorcycle just get here. the place looks amazing in the pictures but when i went here, its not what i have expected it to be.. though it still looks good.
  • Not a place worth recommending, it needs to be renovated. I understand that would be costly but it is worth doing.
  • Remarkable that it is still standing, no cement, and its been here since 1790. Spanish to protect the local people from Moro pirates who raided to steal and kidnap women. Not a lot to do, good jetty t...  more »

  • A place like no other. Simply yet elegant. One of the historic place in Municipality of Madridejos. Walking distance from the market. Come and visit #Lawis.
  • It's about 30 minutes drive from Bantayan market. But I think it's worth checking this place out. Though there's not much to do, but sunset is lovely. Shame they stopped promoting the touristy stuff here (accdg to our guide, they used to have massage and activities by the beach). Instagram worthy pics though, that I can say ;)
  • I hope they are able to restore it now. This was greatly affected by the 2013 earthquake.
  • You gotta love the place! The seabreeze is so refreshing, the kota fort is grand majestic, and the baywalk is just beautiful.
  • The sunset here is the best in the island but in the day it is filled with people who made this spot as their public beach and the water here doesn't look appealing because of the garbage caused by the people living around the area.
