Tappiyah Falls, Banaue

(190+ reviews on the web)
Waterfall
Follow narrow pathways and steep staircases to arrive at the majestic Tappiyah Falls. Start the route in Batad Village and climb paths through the rice terraces, where you’ll be greeted by friendly locals who are hard at work. The trek will take you up and down plenty of steps, which have been carved into the rocks along hair-raising paths on the edge of cliffs. After a demanding trek, you’ll be ready to dive into the ice-cold waters upon arrival at the picturesque waterfall. Although suitable for all fitness levels, the route is considered strenuous. Bring plenty of water to stay hydrated throughout the journey. • A very worthy detour on your way to the rice terraces of Batad, quite impressive and beautifully refreshing to swim in too but beware of the currents in the water. the steep stairs leading down to the...  more »
  • Arduous journey to the terraces, is much deeper than the reason of rice terrace. Take water.

  • The Tappiyah Falls deserve each other! Down a long flight of stairs before falling on this little gem! A nice corner to be able to swim and admire a waterfall of a 40aines of meters! 2 negative points:-lack of trash and therefore place room as too often in Asia - everything that is down one day it goes back the other day! The back over the Batad rice is not simple! Take your time, take breaks and provide water! Well anyway!

  • Very cold water, from Batad Highest View point to the falls will take approximately 1 hour. Rocks and stones are very slippery and you might need a waterproof shoes.
  • If you do the terraces, you done the hard part. Finish the hike and cool off in the falls
  • It was the hardest trail that I had experienced so far but it was worth it. Trust me. It is so scenic. Check the photo that I have posted.
  • Very Nice Place....I really love this Place😃
  • Beautiful waterfall! Totally worth the hike.
