Dicasalarin Cove, Baler

4.4
#2 of 6 in Nature in Baler
Dicasalarin Cove affords visitors the chance to revel on soft white sands, bordered by a striking blue ocean and verdant rolling hills. The privately owned cove has a small charge for entry and parking, and the area surrounding the beach abounds with sightseeing opportunities, including an artist village, a seedling nursery, and various other interesting structures. The fairly rough ocean seethes with strong currents, making it inappropriate for children to swim in. Be sure to climb the many stairs up to the unusual beacon on the top of the point, from which you can enjoy panoramic views of the cove. Be careful here, as there are no railings to protect from the long drop to the jagged rocks below. • It was like a private island.going to the cove was a bit tricky it was going up to a mountain and it was like a one way up. And that is your final destination. In order to exit they will radio down until you finally arrived down then someone else can go on. You need a good car to go up. Unfortunately we did not see the cove. it was a high tide and too dangerous this time of year to visit. We stayed on the beach. It was beautiful and breathtaking. The toilet could be a bit cleaner it was full of sand and needs a constant cleaning up. The price to enter is 300 pesos per head. You cannot stay in it was just a day on the beach. I need to go again on summertime instead of December.
  • Best beach I've ever been to. Private, clean, warm water, tidal pools with all sorts of wildlife, and the killer view from the top of the cove will blow you away. This was my favorite part of Baler by far.
  • Great place to swim. Just be there early since it's scorching hot after 10am. No cottages on the shore. Bring your own shade. =)
