  • Very scenic and peaceful place. You don't need a guide. Its easy to find from the sari sari store. The road down to the falls is under repair. It was a very exhausting walk to falls and the motorbike is a good option though 100p seemed high. Once the road opens its an easy drive up to falls trail. The trail is very steep but has well made stairs to make the climb and descent easier. Life jackets are required to swim but are included with you entrance fee.
  • Amazing waterfall. To reach it you need to drive a very hard road. No way with a standard car. 4x4 or bike is the best. I refer to take a local driver. He can be the guide too. The last part you have to walk. It's around 200m straight downhill, countless stairs included. We paid 300 Pesos for guidance and 500 Pesos for driving there(4 persons).
  • You can choose to trek along the river(>1hr) or drive up(20mins) to the nearest parking area. But be sure to log at the police station and get a tour guide (500pesos) before heading to falls. The road is narrow(one lane) and steep- not ideal for small cars and novice drivers. The falls was awesome. Clear waters and relatively clean. A must visit here is La Union.
  • A place where there's a adventure waiting for you. A place where you relax and enjoy the beauty of nature. And it's my hometown. Home sweet home.
  • Do the shorter hike (1km+) if you're with your children. Majestic waterfalls. Freezing water temperature. Life vest are for hire @ P50 with an unlimited time. Don't forget to Register at the police station. Registration fee- P30, adults and P20, kids: Mandatory Guide fee-P500
