The Mansion, Baguio

(280 reviews on the web)
Architectural Building
The ornate iron gate and neatly trimmed grass of the president’s summer house, The Mansion, will instantly capture your attention. The villa was built in 1908 in the Spanish Colonial Revival style, with its rustic aesthetic having survived a couple of restorations. While some areas remain restricted, the villa contains a museum open to the public, displaying presidential memorabilia and artworks collected over the years. Take a walk along the pine tree promenade in the park across the street, where you’ll find souvenir shops and the opportunity to go on a horse ride. Our Baguio tourist route planner makes visiting The Mansion and other Baguio attractions simple, and helps you make a travel plan personal to you.

  • I honestly am not into history but seeing The Mansion built on 1908 got my interest to Philippine history once again. I don't know if its allowed to go inside, but it seemed not, they said that Inside...  more »
  • The place is very romantic and intimate minus the influx of tourists. Stroll with your loved ones or friends.  more »
  • I find this place romantic for a couple promenaders. With trees and nice view and the wide manicured lawns of a white mansion.  more »

  • There's not much to do other than take photos, and you are only allowed to do so from a distance. They could really open some of the rooms to the public and offer guided tours, especially on days when the President is not around.
  • Although there is nothing much to see or do here. You have not been to Baguio if you have not taken a photo with the Philippine Presidents' summer home. A must see historical site in Baguio City.
  • Not much activity except to take a souvenir shot in front of the house ( actually, the house is still far behind, no access ). You haven't been to Baguio if you have no pic here! 😉😎
  • You can take photos outside and inside the gate, but still its too far from the Mansion. Anyway, its the view that counts. And its one of the tourist spot, so you better take photos of it nalang. 😂😂😂
  • It is just right beside Wright Park so you can visit the mansion and just take a selfie/groupie or just take a picture of the mansion itself, nothing much to do after that...
