Mt. Pulag National Park, Baguio

(4.7/5 based on 160+ reviews on the web)
Climb the highest peak in Luzon at Mt. Pulag National Park, a summit rising nearly 3,000 m (9,840 ft) above sea level. The well-maintained trail and great conditions make this ascent suitable for even beginners, but keep in mind that temperatures drop toward the top, so consider bringinbg extra layers of clothing. Once you've reached the top, the climb rewards you with breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks and a sea of clouds, forming a famous sight in the area. During your trek, keep your eyes peeled for threatened species, such as the Philippine deer and the long-haired fruit bat. Try to reach the peak before dawn to catch the awesome view of the sun rising above the clouds. Plan your visit to Mt. Pulag National Park and a wealth of other attractions, well-known and undiscovered, using our Baguio holiday planner.

  • Great view for sea of clouds. Guides are very friendly and accommodating. There are latrines but sometimes are out of order so be ready and bring shovel just in case.
  • Nature at its beauty, Rich in mossy forest and grassland. A great sunrise view above the clouds.
  • its unique beauty keeps me coming back
  • If you're lucky enough to wake up early to hike to the summit and the view is clear, you'll see the gorgeous sunrise over a sea of clouds. This place is pretty popular though, so expect to have plenty of other people in your pictures if you go on the weekends. Try to schedule a weekday hike. ;)
  • Freezing but i love it. It's worth the struggle to climb for hours.
