Mt. Pulag National Park, Baguio

4.8
#1 of 10 in Nature in Benguet Province
Climb the highest peak in Luzon at Mt. Pulag National Park, a summit rising nearly 3,000 m (9,840 ft) above sea level. The well-maintained trail and great conditions make this ascent suitable for even beginners, but keep in mind that temperatures drop toward the top, so consider bringinbg extra layers of clothing. Once you've reached the top, the climb rewards you with breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks and a sea of clouds, forming a famous sight in the area. During your trek, keep your eyes peeled for threatened species, such as the Philippine deer and the long-haired fruit bat. Try to reach the peak before dawn to catch the awesome view of the sun rising above the clouds. Arrange your visit to Mt. Where to stay in Baguio

Look for upscale accommodations near Burnham Park, where you can check into a room with views over the central green area. Some resorts farther out of the city center make use of the increase in space by offering pools, onsite restaurants, and other amenities. Bed and breakfasts provide the more budget-conscious traveler with a comfortable place to rest after a long day of adventuring. You'll find these establishments on the outskirts of town, or along the side streets in and around the city center.
