Botanical Garden, Baguio

#4 of 14 in Parks in Baguio
Revel in the tranquil ambiance of the pine forests and lush gardens of Botanical Garden. Well-maintained stone paths wind through various areas of the park, giving you the opportunity to see artworks in the art gallery, home of the Baguio Arts Guild, or shop for souvenirs in a small row of stalls selling handicrafts. The onsite Japanese theme park also attracts many visitors. Inspect the Buddha statues, admire the Japanese-style architecture, and don’t miss the chance to walk through the 150 m (492 ft) narrow tunnel. You can find onsite restrooms, and for a refreshing cup of coffee head to the cafe near the main entrance. • I've visited world class gardens such as Kew (outside London) and Kirstenbosch in Cape Town. When we visited the Baguio Botanical Garden, we could see the unfulfilled potential. The venue is very good...  more »
  • Yes it is a must but we are here to manage your expectation, it a great place to talk a walk and some pictures. The tunnel was uhhh I think its a bit out of place, they're still improving the place so...  more »
  • Scenic but yet nothing extraordinary. I don't even see enough flora and fauna there to consider it botanical. Although it is a good place for walking and just hanging out. There is a place for photo o...  more »

  • Here you can immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Baguio amidst the Urban Sprawl of the city. You can take in the fresh pine scented air and marvel at the colors of the different flowers, and the best part, it's free! Just make sure to keep the area clean when you visit.
  • One of the few places left in Baguio where you can enjoy a sense of greenery and peace. They have now included pieces from countries like China, Thailand, and even the USA. A good place to just hangout and enjoy nature. A good place to take your insta worthy pics! Be wary of short walks and climbs.
  • The place is very beautiful. The entrance fee is quite affordable and you get to see many common and exotic flower species. Picture taking with the native Cordillerans (with costumes) can be done at the entrance. Picture taking inside is also allowed although picking of flowers is strictly prohibited.
  • I've been living here in Baguio for a couple years now but this is the first time I've been here. I never thought the park would be so spacious with lots of adventures inside. Inside you will see a very robust vegetation, lots of garden pathways, Chinese and Japanese parks, a cave (Yes, there is a cave inside! 😁), and there are also elephants! I must have been here earlier. I never thought I would be missing this much from Baguio if I haven't been here today. Hopefully this park can be maintained and our folks from the tourists won't destroy it. ☺️
  • Place is just a walk with the nature and nothing else uncommon. Mines View is better when listing the names of the plants in the garden and selling them. Theres always shops to buy souvenirs as always in every place in Baguio. There should be a map of the place, what to expect and showing the beauty of the place.
