Botanical Garden, Baguio

#4 of 13 in Parks in Baguio
Revel in the tranquil ambiance of the pine forests and lush gardens of Botanical Garden. Well-maintained stone paths wind through various areas of the park, giving you the opportunity to see artworks in the art gallery, home of the Baguio Arts Guild, or shop for souvenirs in a small row of stalls selling handicrafts. The onsite Japanese theme park also attracts many visitors. Inspect the Buddha statues, admire the Japanese-style architecture, and don’t miss the chance to walk through the 150 m (492 ft) narrow tunnel. You can find onsite restrooms, and for a refreshing cup of coffee head to the cafe near the main entrance. • A variety of plants n experiences. There is a japanese tunnel to explore. They showcase different types of gardens. Very educational too because they labeled the plants complete with name and a short description. They have souvenir shops which not only sells Baguio souvenirs but also artworks by Baguio artists. The entrance was made so as it would be convenient for the elderly and disabled persons in wheelchairs to enter. Unfortunately, it would be difficult for them to explore the whole place.
  • Good place if you want to be indulged in nature. There's a historical Japanese tunnel that would make things interesting. I gave it a tree because... I dunno, I feel like it lacks something.
  • Simple yet complex. It's more about memorials and structures than variety of horticulture. I spent 2 hours here taking photos and enjoying the cool, quiet spots that induce meditation. There are booths that sell T-shirts, blankets, carvings and other objects that will remind you of the Phillipines.
  • I love this place.. Many kind of flowers i see.. Best place for pictorial. Have parking lots. And more pasalubong you buy
  • As a botanical garden, its owners should focus on rearing flora other than using poorly-designed Asian architecture that show little or no aesthetic or meaningful relevance with the landscape.

Where to stay in Baguio

Look for upscale accommodations near Burnham Park, where you can check into a room with views over the central green area. Some resorts farther out of the city center make use of the increase in space by offering pools, onsite restaurants, and other amenities. Bed and breakfasts provide the more budget-conscious traveler with a comfortable place to rest after a long day of adventuring. You'll find these establishments on the outskirts of town, or along the side streets in and around the city center.
