  • The place was so nice. It was actually fascinating because lahar flow from the slopes of Mount Pinatubo which erupted into world notice on June 15, 1991, buried the church at half its 12-m height. The church was sanitized well. There is a comfort room beside the church for the people who visit the place. There's also a souvenir shop, you can buy some rosary and some religious stuff. There is no entrance fee when going to the church, it was free! The location of the church was quiet difficult to find but there are signage so there are no possible way for you to get lost. If you wanna have some "me time" I really suggest the place, it was peaceful in there. :)
  • A holy place. We visited this church on Holy week. The priest who officiated the mass was a Bishop. 😊
  • One of the most beautiful and interesting heritage churches of Pampanga. This is also a symbol of the brave and resilient spirit of the Kapampangan people.
  • Centuries old church in Pampanga that is half buried by lahar from the Mt. Pinatubo eruption in 1991. People's strong faith & resiliency made this church survive.
