  • Restored old Spanish-era church (originally built 1576 by the Agustinian Friars) buried in lahar after the eruption of Mt.Pinatubo in 1991. Many historical religious relics on display inside. The church was built on a private lot of Don Guillermo Manabat, a rich landlord and founder of Bacolor town. Access to the parking area is on the side entrance.
  • It was a pleasant surprise seeing this beautiful church. It's an old sunken church.
  • It's an old church buried by lahar during the eruption of Mt Pinatubo.
  • This is where the place "may bukas pa" was been shoot remember santino the miracle boy,i believe the show was broadcast in abs cbn wayback 2009
  • The place was so nice. It was actually fascinating because lahar flow from the slopes of Mount Pinatubo which erupted into world notice on June 15, 1991, buried the church at half its 12-m height. The church was sanitized well. There is a comfort room beside the church for the people who visit the place. There's also a souvenir shop, you can buy some rosary and some religious stuff. There is no entrance fee when going to the church, it was free! The location of the church was quiet difficult to find but there are signage so there are no possible way for you to get lost. If you wanna have some "me time" I really suggest the place, it was peaceful in there. :)
