  • Private museum gem! The eight most important civilizations of Peru are each briefly in a room. Then there is a further area in which an important scene of the culture (E.g. sacrifice) is represented with life-size figures each. All panels to the explanation in Spanish and English. Guided tours for groups. Small restaurant-Café invites you to linger.

  • We love this museum. It makes us know the different cultures of peru, from culture Caral to the Inka, in a very easy and didactic way. You first enter the room which explains a little about the culture, age, geographic location, and its important features (ceramics, jewels, mummies, music, building, etc)... then go to see the representation scale, of what life in that time, in every culture. Children and adults enjoyed it very much. It is very good thought the Museum. ,

  • A Museum "spectacular": where the tourist (also rushed) can see life-size reconstructions of men, clothing, utensils, sacred scenes and rituals of the various civilizations:d to CARAL (3000 b.c.), CHAUIM (1800), PARACAS (1200 BC), MOCHICA (800 BC) Nazca (200 ad), WARI (800 ad) LAMBAYEQUE CHIMU (800 ad) and then INKA (1400 ad). Of course we have to thank our guide Julio in Italian. It is not a traditional Museum, there is a wax museum, for this we recommend seeing it.

  • 35 soles seem to be high price. We did not Asked 1 sole to use restroom. Decided to use bushes instead.
  • Very interesting place, depicting life in Peru leading up to the Incas Information in Spanish and English. Life size models, I fully expected them to move
  • One of the best visits. Really gives you a clear feel of the essentials of life in each of the dynasties. Great history lesson. About 1 hour visits created by a private family.
  • So expensive that we didnt even bother going in. Place was very quiet, no other guests. We did have a lovely lemonade at the cafe though.
  • Cool summary of Peruvian pre Columbian history
