  • If you're a horse rider I wholeheartedly recommend making the time to ride a trail with these guys. I did the 1 day Salt Pans and Moray complex trail and it was amazing to experience those sites via horseback rather than a coach tour or hike. (Tip from my mistake! If you've got a ticket that let's you see multiple sites in Cusco/Sacred Valley, take it with you so you can go into Moray and see the site in full.) If you're not experienced, give it a try anyway! They have shorter rides you can do, and they make the difficulty clear on their website. The horses are wonderful and well trained, and the experience of the Sacred Valley from horseback is one I'll never forget. Many thanks to Kate and Amelia for making the day great fun, and the welcoming hospitality of everyone at the ranch. Next time I'm in Peru I'll definitely be doing a multi day ride here!
