Los Manglares de Puerto Pizarro, Tumbes
(3.7/5 based on 380+ reviews on the web)
Explore Los Manglares de Puerto Pizarro, a largely untamed area of biological diversity and impressive greenery. Take a boat tour to see major waterways and mangrove forests that hug their sides. Bring your binoculars to spot flamingos, boobies, and pelicans, and keep your eyes peeled for crocs. Numerous tour groups operate here, with some taking visitors off to local zoos rather than the wilderness. Ask around about the experience you can book before you settle on a single operator. Los Manglares de Puerto Pizarro is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our online itinerary creator, Tumbes Edition.

  • It is easy to get to Puerto Pizarro. The entrance is in the middle of Pan two kilometers from the airport. On that entry there are motorcycle taxis that lead directly to the small Bay/town consisting of a few houses, and some fishermen by S/.1. The most interesting is the possibility of contracting to small vessels that lead to the sites which are mangroves, Islands full of a wide variety of birds and the crocodile farm. It is worth making this visit. The small port city has a square that seems one of those forgotten places in time. If it had taken me a photo many years ago it would have been more or less like this:

  • Puerto Pizarro is a fisherman's Cove, there are even restaurants there. The tour is approximately 2 hours and take you to see crocodiles also, is a good spot to explore the mangroves, the bad that there is a bit of disorder and will enough people. The restaurantes(hay en una isla) are a little expensive and intermediate flavor, tmb you can bathe and make bike. Good site for media.manana and can be reached without the need for tour.

  • We traveled in a boat about 2 hours all the way at the beginning we had a little bit of distrust, but then we realized how wrong we were we arrived in very good time that we could see the crocodiles we loved the Tour since it was all guided knew how us to explain everything we needed to know, not led to a beach that was included in the Tour an unforgettable experience , the attention of the people very warm
