  • You can see various animals that come to be cared for and then reintegrated in their natural habitat

  • We visited this site in February, it wasn't too crowded, but I think that the site is not yet well tourist. This site proposes to collect animals in dirty state and allow them to regain their health in order to return them to their natural place. The Plaza of armas of Tarapoto it takes about 25 soles in return mototaxi and the entrance is at 6 soles per person. The Center is located in the outskirts of the city in the part more 'jungle'. A guide you discover animals and plants, we saw a tamir, venomous ants, monkeys jumping in the trees during the visit, parrots of the turtles, etc. It was very interesting and entertaining in the middle of nature. A small detail do not forget your repellent mosquito anti they are also part of the critters on the spot, they are in top form and freedom.

  • We arrived on our own, the path is somewhat complicated (trocha unpaved) the entrance fee 6 soles, according to the guide tells us are animals that were rescued from smuggling, many of them because they will not return to its natural habitat. It is interesting for the social work that they perform, but there was little to see.
