Where to stay in Tacna

You'll find the bulk of Tacna's accommodations along the Circunvalacion Sur ring road. Hotels range from mid-priced and comfortable, to more exclusive and luxury options offering lots of facilities and services, including onsite restaurants and bars. Simple guesthouses on primarily residential streets serve as the most popular places to stay for budget-conscious travelers, with a good selection found on the city's side streets. Farther from the city center, look for hotels near the main roads, well positioned for those exploring the region by car.

  • Incredible, the tour lasts a couple of hours, but I could not do it full time. However, what little I saw left me impressed. One of the funniest walk things was to cross the bridges. The recommendation is to use shoes, sunscreen and hat.

  • We went with the family to know in particular since it is close to the Centre, it took us less than 30 minutes to get there, the path is good and is signposted. Is a cute sexy and by a Sun every one entered to the petroglyphs and bridge hanging.

  • A unique experience for those who like history, and with the plus of seeking one's own petroglyphs that are scattered throughout the archaeological area.
