El Silencio, Punta Hermosa
(3.3/5 based on 80+ reviews on the web)
Relax on the white sands of El Silencio, or go for a dip in its calm azure waters. The gentle breeze lends itself to windsurfing, while clear waters make swimming and snorkeling enjoyable. No need to bring a picnic; plenty of nearby restaurants serve up a wide variety of snacks and seafood. Look out for the pelicans diving for fresh fish. Be sure to pack plenty of sunscreen as well as a sun umbrella, as there are not many naturally shaded areas on this wide, long beach. Put El Silencio into our Punta Hermosa vacation trip planner and find out what's close by, where to stay, and where to head next.

  • Silence is a very nice beach near lima, but during weekend is filled with a lot of people. I would recommend going on weekdays since the water is very clean.

  • During the 70s was one of the most popular beaches in the South of Lima. It has been recently recovered and becomes everything to keep it in good condition.

  • You arrive by car, and is less rocky beach and the more quiet of Lima. In these months the Pacific is not so friendly in terms of temperature. Much filling in high season, from June to November, it is less crowded, there are no jobs to buy and provides much peace.
