Take a tour of Lake Titicaca, the world-famous lake along the border of Peru and Bolivia. Consider renting a boat and hiring a guide to take you around. Not only will you explore along the water's edge and the local villages there, but you'll also visit the lake's floating reed islands, maintained and inhabited by locals. You can swim here, but expect cold waters in the highest navigable lake in the world. Plan to see Lake Titicaca and other attractions that appeal to you using our Puno vacation planner.

  • one word = amazing! pass it to visit the floating islands of the uros and was one of the most amazing experiences I've ever spent. Not for adventure, as it is very quiet and safe, but by cultural difference. Very good.

  • Our view is slice but justified by a wonderful tour of Taquile with tasting of excellent trout in an exceptional setting. Which décor! the climb to the village is everyone has their own pace because if you try to follow the locals you let your breath, even if there are loads. Here even the cabinets go up a man's back. Nature is preserver > in reevanche our suggestion is to avoid the Uros Islands, the show n is not very rewarding for the inhabitants reduced a sing and do the show. No doubt there are t he better do what to maintain them in a situation of almost begging. Some prefer to stand aside and continue their life of fishermen rather than putting on a show.
