  • It was a very nice experience, I loved seeing a monkey with your newborn bb loaded on the back, and see how jump branches to collect bananas carrying guides. I recommend that about three days or four staying in lodges and in the tour include this walk, it's fun. NOT forgetting the repellent, are in the jungle.

  • We saw some Capuchins which was lovely, but it is not worth the hype. The monkeys were introduced to the island, so that takes away some of the authenticity. Nice stop if you are seeing other things. ...  more »
  • On this island the monkeys were introduced for a few years. There are two species, Capuchin monkey and squirrel, who enjoy tearing out of the hands of ranger fruits that are offered, and then run away. In the reserve there are other places where you can admire this animals in their natural environment though you have to delve a little into the wilderness. The island is mostly a tourist attraction
