A nice place to visit during the day. Not advisable at night if you are alone. It is an easy landmark to spot from downtown. While you are there you can buy fresh fruit, vegetables and fish from the b...  more »

The clock square is 5 minutes from the Centre, at the foot of the port of Pucallpa, which is rather neglected. Clock is only good place, for a couple of shots and ready. There is no tourist attractions nearby. I read that it was a ' mirabus' that he left this place and he toured some points of the city, but it was not true, this service is only available to companies that hire it (somewhat ridiculous). " In conclusion, the square of the single clock gives to stand for 15 minutes and return. Both the square and the port have the potential to make an attractive place for tourism, hopefully someday.

While we were told that it was a site to see, is not something otherworldly, it is complicated to go along the pier, is not well had to meet somewhere no more.

Nice place for eating on the go and enjoying a time at a side of the river. A bit chaotic but safe

You have a beautiful view towards the Ucayali River. You can walk comfortably enjoying the natural scenery and the port of Ucayali, which gives you an idea of its commercial movement.

It is acceptably toilet, crime rates have almost disappeared. Tourists can visit this place with total safety, is ideal and for selfies or to watch the sunset.

Where to stay in Pucallpa

After centuries spent isolated from the country's main urban areas, the highway and airport brought a wave of development to Pucallpa, including a good range of accommodations. Hotels both simple and luxurious scatter throughout the main urban area; generally larger and more popular options line the main boulevards, while simpler, smaller hotels are tucked away in the city's side streets. The densest area of places to stay lies between Av. Centenario/Saenz Pena and the Ucayali River. In this neighborhood, many of the city's grandest hotels sit alongside more humble lodgings, with a number of rooms offering good views of the river.
