(4/5 based on 200+ reviews on the web)
Iguanas, giant sloths, and various species of bird abound at Laguna Yarinacocha, a pristine lake in verdant surroundings. Take a boat tour to see the magnificent animals in their natural habitat as a tour guide rows you around the peaceful lake, which spans 15 km (9 mi). Locals set up stalls at the lake every day to sell traditional wares and souvenirs. Stock up on fruit, snacks, and drinks in one of the many kiosks and shops at the nearby park. • It is a very relaxing psaeo as you walk along the lagoon and depending on the budget there are 1, 2, and 3 hours travel. Is that there are other "full day" but we do not take them. Reached by bike from the centre costs around 6 Suns and hence there are several "pullers" that deliver the service. They are generally 30 soles per hour, but it is negotiable depending on the day, the people and the influx of people. The trip we took was 3 hours for two people and us cost 70 soles. We walk along the shore to the town of San Jose which is a small port that went through there and that functions as beach residents on weekends, the truth quite careless. Then we went to the village on August 11, where you are only going to see the crafts that offer locals and the truth are not very nice. After that continue along the Lake to the jungle Ecolodge: restaurant, swimming pool and Mini zologico (say that weekends may take dishes up to 2 hours) visit the Zoo costs 3 Suns and the pool is clean saw. Then we traveled to the Lake and went through a restaurant Costa de Ucayali, where we went to lunch but discussed him guide to not going to lunch by which follow more to the bottom of the Lake if we saw some animal or other vegetation. Best of the trip really was not going to these places but the journey in the small small in itself, since it is a relaxing journey where you connect with nature and very nice photos of the place can be removed.

  • The boat trip is very nice and if you are somewhat adventurous will like. However, I think that there is much to do to improve this attraction, only to reach the boat if it is rainy season through a table of improvised wood that they call "bridge". Then the ride and the landscape is beautiful. However the "jungle Ecolodge" animals are very careless and really am sorry see the conditions in which they are.

  • I have enjoyed it, as a Dutchman on a waterway. What fun is the fishermen on the side of the lagoon in their "little boat" we are dangers to San Francisco round trip approx. 3 hours. Be careful with the price, I had a different price understood as I later charged. The captain was very friendly and on the way he stopped the boat to tell information about the Laguna. Hėėl there was a lot of water, the cottages at the port were almost in the water. The new port stands still, and according to the Captain, it takes a while for that that is done. Has me not gaddar, a street or 2 further you come well to the water, shortly before that a market with local fruits
