If you stay in the Centre of the city of Pucallpa is 15 minutes by taxi, if you go in Group much better, so everything is much cheaper four people in the taxi to 3 soles x. The ride on the boat in the lagoon until you cross to the Zoo 10 Suns roundtrip, there looking for the anaconda and tomato a photo with her. It is that this ride is between 5 and 6 pm because back you will see a sunset en.plena impressive lagoon. Ah the entrance to the zoo 3 Suns.

It's really beautiful, we had the opportunity to see some dolphins. The restaurant that they offer to go is really very good and it is a pool for swimming because it is really very hot. It's really beautiful, but I do not advise to go to the zoo because the animals are confined in small cages... But otherwise it is really to see and take a boat ride.

We were in moticar (motorcycle taxi) from the Centre until Yarina, they charged US 5 Suns and arrive in approx. 20 minutes. The malecon is full of restaurants with music blaring, one of them even had dancers on the tables. There were stalls of handicrafts, for all tastes. Also several "pullers" that offer you boat trips, per hour. We only employ time strolling through the lagoon, very polite driver, very cool. The basic route is go to the "Junla", a mini zoo, and a meal at a restaurant there (those stops already expensive service to 2 or 3 hours). We were not the mini zoo with references as being a depressing place and either at the restaurant, so we had already eaten. It is worth to visit the place, it is the tourist place par excellence of Pucallpa.

Where to stay in Pucallpa

After centuries spent isolated from the country's main urban areas, the highway and airport brought a wave of development to Pucallpa, including a good range of accommodations. Hotels both simple and luxurious scatter throughout the main urban area; generally larger and more popular options line the main boulevards, while simpler, smaller hotels are tucked away in the city's side streets. The densest area of places to stay lies between Av. Centenario/Saenz Pena and the Ucayali River. In this neighborhood, many of the city's grandest hotels sit alongside more humble lodgings, with a number of rooms offering good views of the river.
