  • In the Palpa region there lines and geoglyphs in different places. Very well several huge anthropomorphic (human-like) figures on the hill can be seen from a high metal platform. You are located in Piedras Gordas, not far from the Pan-American Highway. We were in the late afternoon there and remained until dusk, it was beautiful to look at the figures on the mountain under a red/orange light. In this region there are over 1500 documented geoglyphs, the first emerged around 1000 years before the Nasca lines. In the village of Sacramento looking at a big level/platform at the time on a mountain with many other lines and geoglyphs. This platform is still not accessible to the public, but according to our guide, you can see a lot in Google Earth.

  • In the middle of the desert but desert seriously with the wind that sweeps and rombolini to clean the lines you find this magical emotion in the silence of the place where you can forget the chaos of the many taxis and motorcycle taxis that infect Peruvian cities

  • Between the km 408 and 409 of the Panam. South there is a detour with a notice which speaks of the geoglyphs of Palpa. There is a pequrna room that tries to serve Museum where they explain some things about these geoglyphs. There is also a vantage point from where it is easy to see the anthropomorphic figures which are made in the slope of the Hill. It is worthwhile to make a stop in this place is just a few hundred meters from the road. There are a few guards charged for entering the room and climb to the lookout. The cost per visit for an adult and two children was 6 soles. If passing through this area is worth stopping will learn over these lines which are less known than the of Nasca.
