  • We love this beautiful activity. We left Nazca early and in 2.5 hours were in San Fernando. The Punta San Fernando we allowed to see hundreds of sea lions, 2 condors! and many more birds. A beautiful natural spectacle, after a tour of the desert more than memorable.

  • As we had seen some views of the national reserve of San Fernando in Nazca decided to go through we were in a 4 x 4, we ask for information in Nazca and police send us to a booth serenazgo where would give us information which was gave us a brochure large and cute, so after lunch we went to the place. Along the way we saw a sign that said: income 4 x 4 reserve national San Fernando then we decided to go by that place, we entered through the wind farm, a picturesque area full of windmills. Follow the path marked by stones painted white in both places almost an hour and more in a trail difficult stretches, until we reach a position where took our details and warned us that we should not leave the road enters stones maybe from that t ranquera the area was preserved and if supposedly put a tire out of the place they always were going with their ATVs and us vetaban any reserve or national park. Well the fact is that they asked us our plane and when they saw him they said that this was poorly made, took him pictures, and said that in nazca had given us a flawed document and that the National Park Service went to file a complaint. The fact is that then we went to the reserve, we were moving about an hour or so it seemed when the path of stones had been invaded by the dunes, we wanted to sort them managing to advance and be seen a road already not stones, but white sticks that they appeared in the sand, we reach a point in which bats disappeared and of course we decided to turn around to find the way back, it is possible that we have been half an hour or less from the place, but definitely wasn't something safe for us be there in the middle of nowhere. Back when passing by the booth, mentioned you that as we could follow, if already not seen the road, we were told that we could climb the dunes that many do not, maybe, but I think you have to have more experience, whereas moving dunes and sand is not c ompacta and it was seen that there was no man's land. As it was not our afternoon definitely, passing the House one of the stones in the trail pierced rim and that was another situation because we delay in changing it, so much so that the occupants of the House removed and we were alone there in the place , when we left it was dark and we reach a point where there were two roads, opt for one of them because not said where were going, we ended up leaving for camp Mills, happily in the darkness appeared a hut with light and told us the guardian of the mills where to go on the road. Now that I read the opinions of travelers it is advisable to go the way of the beach, and preference is better leave early, in case problems arise. I put a score of regulating by the experience but not I can attest that is not beautiful as others manifest it.

  • The reserve of San Fernando Bay is very beautiful, not only by the view that provides but also for the variety of animals of coast and mountains that houses. Surprised to find condors so nearby, as well as appreciate the guanaco and sea lions. The most beautiful is that the animals are in a habitat not yet invaded by man and we hope you are as well. We recommend Peru Desert Tour as your tour operator. We contacted them on the boulevard near the square in his office and all the service was A1. Picked us up at our hotel and we went with tubular so we recommend lenses and a protector of fabric for hair and face for the trip. They also gave us a loncherita to noon in the reserve. Very nice driver! Thank you for this experience.
