  • 10 nuevos soles to enter the old House and adjacent Museum Maria Reiche, German anthropologist who has studied for more than 50 years the mysteries of the Nazca lines. The reconstruction of his house is ridiculous, the Museum consists of two rooms with mostly pictures and material of the scholar. In an adjacent property 4 shards and a mummy kept in horrible conditions. The mummy is very interesting because it has the skin tattoo and it was unusual to see tattoos in this population. The visit ends with the death of scholar and crumbling baths. The only comfort and that around there are restaurants and bars and is located exactly in the middle between the two viewpoints.

  • Located 28 Km before arriving at Nasca, height of the 421 Km of the Pan-American South, is the place where the researcher Maria Reiche lived much of his life studying the Nasca lines. Stop in this place that is not well maintained and should be better, thanks to this great woman who gave his entire life for this national and world heritage is a mandatory. There are original items used by Dr. Reiche, plans, designs, photos, etc. even there is an old combi used by it for its travel and work in the area. Here lie the remains of Dr. Maria Reiche and his sister Renata, which helped the first who dedicated his life to the research of these lines economically. The Peru will be indebted to them forever. Income per adult is 2.50 children and 5 soles soles. The business hours of 9:00 to 17:00 hr. from Monday to Sunday. The tour lasts approximately 30 minutes.

  • Lots of room for improvement. This place feels very authentic and is a nice oasis of calm. However, if you come here to find out more about the Nazca lines, there isn't much here. The museum is a dedication to Maria (and her sister) Reiche, the German lady who investigated the lines, roamed the desert of most of her life, and discovered much of its treasure. The exhibits are not that well organized and appear quite shabby and old. The explanations are not as exciting as her story. The grounds are nice and relatively well kept. A book shop would be a great generator of revenue to my mind.
  • Poor in quantity of manufacts but very interesting to who likes the mystery of Nazca.
  • House-Museum of María Reiche, shows the place where lived and worked. The rate of income is adult s/5 and S/2.5 children not included optional guided. The place is nice but missing detail descriptions in the exhibited objects and access for people with disabilities.
