  • Definitely worth the almost 500 steps down !! Lovely peaceful panorama of the river. Cafe for drinks and food. Hard walk back if you go on a hot day ! Do not attempt if you have walking problems.
  • The mirador de Tahuishco is a meeting space that in addition to offering us an incomparable view of the natural environment of this region, allows us to enjoy the popular local cuisine, such as roasted banana stuffed with cheese or peanut, a perfect snack for a sunset in the jungle.

  • This viewpoint is the best of Moyobamba. From here you get amazing views of the may River and the land adjacent. Arts and crafts, as well as artisanal ice cream can also be purchased. You can get to puerto Tahuisco by means of stairs (20 min approx) and there are some stops to rest (can be exhausting if not are used) If you can not also take motorcycle taxi. In the port you can also take a boat that crosses the River (S /. 30) and sometimes offer watercraft. There are tourist restaurants and you can also try raspadillas borrachas (different spirits of the place added you). Do not miss it! Returning to the vantage point, do not forget to visit the Museum of cocoa where tell is extracted and processed cocoa and offer products such as liquor and soaps based on coffee, coconut, cocoa, etc. And delicious chocolates with fun shapes.
