Puente Colgante de Catapalla, Lunahuana
(2.2/5 based on 75+ reviews on the web)
Suspended over the fast-flowing Cañete River, Puente Colgante de Catapalla was originally constructed with just wood and later reinforced with concrete and steel. The bridge sits amidst the first grape growing area of the village and is one of the area's most sought-out attractions. It is a popular stop on a city tour, found in close proximity to a beekeeping center and a horseback riding tour company. Fruit stalls and souvenir kiosks can be found to the side of the bridge, so you can take time to browse after your photo op. Make Puente Colgante de Catapalla a centerpiece of your Lunahuana vacation itinerary, and find what else is worth visiting using our Lunahuana holiday planner.

  • The bridge is a nice place to take photos from the river view. For me, there's nothing special with the bridge itself.
  • It is a good place with good view but should be improved by local authorities, nothing in particular.
