  • It is a pedestrian street just 5 blocks that connects the Plaza de Armas with the Plaza San Martin. Full of business and people walking. It is evident that it had better times but worth the walk since there you can see the true spirit of the Lima, i.e. as not private. It should be careful with the crowds of people and the arrebatarores, as I was advised as they advised me to take my backpack in front and be attentive. In my case it was all normal and I didn't see anything strange. There are enough police. We toured it Sunday afternoon and full State and people and all businesses open. The surprise was to see a kind of Carnival sponsored by the municipality in which we could see joyful parades with dresses typical of Peru, singing and dancing in the street. It was very pleasant and a real surprise

  • It is better to go to this place from the morning to walk and feel the living of the people, you will find everything! Walking it is worth rather than take it on a tour from a bus! It is very safe, recommended!

  • Pedestrian street that connects the Plaza de San Martín with the Plaza de Armas. Note that his best years have passed. Very busy but gloomy, ramshackle and come to less trades.
