Where to stay in Lima

One of Peru's most expensive destinations, Lima offers accommodations that range from modern hotel high-rises to family-run guesthouses. Most visitors stay in Barranco, Miraflores, or San Isidro, three of the city's safest and prettiest neighborhoods, which offer a good selection of budget lodgings. For something truly authentic, look for hotels located in restored mansions, many of which offer pleasant rooms overlooking manicured enclosed gardens, ideal for enjoying romantic meals or hosting small private parties.

  • I was invited to a birthday of a nephew to the Park, and me day with the surprise that had several birthdays that are festajaban. You can take everything to celebrate birthdays, of course with respect to others. The place is spacious, green, nice to spend some time with nature and with friends.

  • On the back there is a Museum and a library for children. Ahead are sculptures of the heroes (there is a child hero). When you walk through there you can see birds, grass and do not believe that there a battle occurred.

  • A very beautiful park tells us about the battle of Miraflores in 1881 (the Pacific war between Chile and Peru). It was the point where the Chilean and Peruvian resistance has there. A very green place with many sculptures and a lot of story to tell.

  • My favorite park Miraflores. Fenced off from the traffic, very safe and secure for children to run around. Clean toilets and Wi-Fi freely available. Wi-Fi is slow.
  • I love the train there
  • Nice little park.
  • Nice park music and food booths
  • Very quiet and safe
