  • I went with a bus coming from the intersection of the av. Grau with the Av. Abancay (I don't remember the name of the company) pay s/10 up to the entrance of Pucusana, then we take a couster which took us up to 2 s/1 or 3 blocks before reaching the beach. The truth I didn't at the beginning since people have been throwing waste sand and the sea and looks and smell the garbage. In the Mall there are plenty of restaurants, at the edge of the sea food stalls there are Navy and Creole. Just you get offer boating a s/10 per person, but if you finish the beach, there is a spring in which claimed us s/40 for 6 people (my group was 3 and 3 others met them at the dock); the truth the boat ride was worth it, took us to various places, we saw sea lions, pelicans, we went to an island and they gave us a "guided tour".

Where to stay in Lima

One of Peru's most expensive destinations, Lima offers accommodations that range from modern hotel high-rises to family-run guesthouses. Most visitors stay in Barranco, Miraflores, or San Isidro, three of the city's safest and prettiest neighborhoods, which offer a good selection of budget lodgings. For something truly authentic, look for hotels located in restored mansions, many of which offer pleasant rooms overlooking manicured enclosed gardens, ideal for enjoying romantic meals or hosting small private parties.
