Presidential Palace (Palacio de Gobierno), Lima
(4.1/5 based on 500+ reviews on the web)
One of the country's most important governmental buildings, Presidential Palace (Palacio de Gobierno) serves as the official residence of the president. The current building was completed in 1937 in an elegant, stately Neo-Baroque style, though different forms of governmental offices have stood here since 1535. The guards standing at attention and the iconic wrought iron fence neatly complement the grandeur and seriousness of this major landmark. • Pleasantly surprised by the large influx of tourists at noon. Very formal, with a band that will love to hear.

  • It's very nice and I recommend to see the changing of the guard! The only problem is with the heat waiting for the changing of the guard, but with Hat worth the wait to see it.
