  • Went here to try climbing for the first time. The instructor spoke both english and Spanish and gave very clear instructions. Great first experience!  more »
  • One of the few places in Lima to practice both scaling for large as for boys. Specialized personnel. It has also a cafeteria with healthy food menu. An option to bring the kids and snacks.

  • We decided to have lunch at this place and do something different for the father's day as it was climbing and spend some quality time. We review your facebook and pleasant surprise they had read enough alternatives to eat (lasagna, chicken, appetizers, etc.), the place seemed nice for what we were yesterday for lunch; We came as 3:00 pm, only had 2 people escalanda, go up to the terrace where is encuantra the restaurant/cafeteria and you ask Manager if that food was responding to me Yes. Quiet made ourselves comfortable and I went to ask for two types of appetizers that feature in the chart Menu and our capital was surprise... only had a vegetarian lasagna and 1 hamburgeusa, the rest of the letter did not exist. Informed me that people had had on Saturday and that is was over food; ready, they spoiled us lunch. I do not understand to the owner or administrator that it did not prevent purchase and ensure better service especially for father's day. A pity that they may not understand how important that is to offer a quality service. No return!

  • My favorite place in Lima! The staff is very welcoming and knowledgeable. I'm a beginner and my friend is an intermediate climber and we both benefitted greatly from the classes.
  • Pirqa is a pretty small climbing place, but its walls are pretty tall and extend the 2nd floor open patio, which gives you views of the street and surrounding neighborhood (both good and bad) while you're climbing. No AC but the entire place is out in the open, which is fine most of year-round except specific hours where the sun directly hits a couple of the walls. The bouldering section is short and compact but it has a lot of holds for you to create your own routes and train- but this place is mostly meant for rope climbing. Staff is really nice and they are flexible with needs. The patio restaurant/cafe is surprisingly popular since they get a decent amount of people that just go to eat (and not climb).
  • This place is perfect for practicing the sport climbing, they have implements very secure and very good staff wave, highly recommended! Perfect spot to climb, a lot of security and great staff, I'd recommended you this place

Where to stay in Lima

One of Peru's most expensive destinations, Lima offers accommodations that range from modern hotel high-rises to family-run guesthouses. Most visitors stay in Barranco, Miraflores, or San Isidro, three of the city's safest and prettiest neighborhoods, which offer a good selection of budget lodgings. For something truly authentic, look for hotels located in restored mansions, many of which offer pleasant rooms overlooking manicured enclosed gardens, ideal for enjoying romantic meals or hosting small private parties.
