Parque Zoologico Huachipa, Lima
(3/5 based on 85 reviews on the web)
Parque Zoologico Huachipa takes a more hand-on and close-up approach to animal observation. Explore the zoo's petting workshops for sheep, camels, and vicunas, and enjoy close interaction with a variety of big cats--including the increasingly rare white tiger--separated by reinforced glass. Pay special attention to the extensive and informative aviary and section dedicated to the Amazon rainforest. Because of the zoo's location a fair distance from most touristy spots, consider taking a taxi here, unless you're familiar with the area. Work out when and for how long to visit Parque Zoologico Huachipa and other Lima attractions using our handy Lima tour planner.

  • If you go with children, well any animal that will impress them. The services provided by the Park should improve them, such as cleaning. As for food, very bad experience. We had lunch at a restaurant decorated like safari, too many people and food, bad (chicken nuggets were those frozen and pre-cooked and lomo saltado meat was tough). There is a play area, they should cover it with shadow for the health of children. All games come and last an average of 7 minutes. We went to the Aquarium, many people, small.

  • We visited this place because they said that they had opened a new attraction, Aquarium, which according to whooooole advertising they did, was the best of the country, the largest, with many animals and blah blah blah... it was a scam! Great Aquarium is summarized in (rather large) aquariums with fish of colors, Octopus and crabs. They also said that people can interact with the animals, only thing you need is a poor Starfish which allow you to play with two fingers. Their pseudo-guias they spend screaming into the microphone not to take photos, which walk faster, they move forward because there are tail... is a disaster. And not to mention the other animals in the Park... neglected, skinny, stressed. The Park is super dirty, trash and debris everywhere, even in the Green Lagoon (of both fungus). Even happens to go to the toilet, nasty services!.

  • Excellent place, many games and events for children without exaggeration in the walk in the Park of the legends

  • A family friendly zoo with a various species of animals. There are some really cool animals which are seen only in PERU. The zoo is over crowded with people during holidays. I am not happy with animal enclosures, because they are quite small for the animals. The zoo needs more attention about cleanliness, animal care. The zoo needs some improvements in many areas. I enjoyed the conceptual exhibits in the zoo. overall It's a good place to spend your time with kids and family.
  • En descuido total, baños sucios, animales mal cuidados, mala señalización, lagunas llenas de algas y basura. En una palabra: decepcionante.
  • Great for a family trip
  • Muy divertido!
  • Its ok the animals need to be taken care of more
