Where to stay in Lima

One of Peru's most expensive destinations, Lima offers accommodations that range from modern hotel high-rises to family-run guesthouses. Most visitors stay in Barranco, Miraflores, or San Isidro, three of the city's safest and prettiest neighborhoods, which offer a good selection of budget lodgings. For something truly authentic, look for hotels located in restored mansions, many of which offer pleasant rooms overlooking manicured enclosed gardens, ideal for enjoying romantic meals or hosting small private parties.

  • This Park is located 4 blocks from the plaza San Martín and is a nice place to sit and relax. Not is tran large as the square before mentioned but is much less bustling and is ideal for sitting, rest and think towards where one goes to continue touring Lima. Also is on the same block as the Pantheon of the heroes by what is can kill 2 birds with one stone itself

  • It is a park located in the historic centre of the city of Lima, capital of the Peru. It is rectangular in shape and is located at the intersection of Abancay and Piérola Nicolás avenues. Named for being there the historical headquarters of the UNIVERSIDAD NACIONAL MAYOR DE SAN MARCOS., has monuments by Sebastián Lorente, master of youth, the was a Spanish historian who also founded the College of Guadalupe (famous in Lima). Monument to Hipólito Unanue, considered a genius was a precursor of the independence of the Peru as well as a political and medical Peruvian. Monument to Bartolome Herrera was a character of the first years of the Republic, Congressman constituent and promoter of the education national. The German or the clock tower was donated by German residents in Peru, on the occasion of the centenary of the independence of Peru. in 1921. The midday, both also at six in the afternoon, its chimes played the first verse of the national anthem of Peru. RECOMMENDATION, I suggest take tours as / Walking Lima with Sara as it is a bit dangerous also is good to hear the story of a good guide., to know other places also.
