  • Nice place to meet and have a good time. It is refurbished and opened to the public. There are colorful exotic birds and flames that can be admired freely animals. There is a train that runs through the Park and sometimes there are events at the Amphitheater.

  • The so-called Park of wall of Lima is located behind the Palace of Government of Peru, in a reconstruction that seeks to rescue what was the Colonial wall which was built in the 17th century. However, other legitimate remains of the wall of Lima are called Cercado de Lima, towards the exit to the East, near the cemetery of the Angel, in the old district of Barrios Altos (named by the religious settlements and temples that were in that part of the city), and consists of a Bastion, with pockets and a long piece about 100 meters from the old city wall whose width is 5-6 meters wide, colonial building, which has survived by the care that a religious congregation (which bought that land) has with the last remaining colonial heritage as it was the wall, built to "protect the city of Lima from attack by pirates", who never threatened the city, and rather they engaged in plundering the ports as Arica , Callao, Paita. Being destroyed the wall, during the 1860, by the expansion of the city, in charge of the contractor Henry Meiggs, the wall was destroyed in a 95%, and the rest of wall is a true historical monument of the city of Lima, which deserves to be known. Satellite 2009, photo taken from a screenshot of Google location map attached, and subsequently it has been visited by us.

  • You will find remains of the wall that surrounded Lima until 1870 was a true gift to the city. Unfortunately the Park is closed for several months, which deprives them, Lima and visitors to meet this little-known part of the city and the history. The municipality of Lima must take action to reopen this park. It would be great for everyone. When they open it, it will be be a very good place to visit.
