  • The House is impressive and perfectly neat. It houses paintings, sculptures, and gold and silver pieces, including paintings from the Cusco school. Highly recommended to go in schedule of guided tours (see its website), that included free of charge with the entrance and are worth a lot, guides explain very well each room and shows that they know what they are talking about. They also have an application for mobile (audio-guide) where they explain you each room, in case of not be able to go on tour. Given the quality of the visit, it should be a museum better known in Lima than it is.

  • If you go to the District of Barranco don't forget to visit the Museo Pedro de Osma. A stately mansion with beautiful gardens surrounded by architecture. From the entrance opens you up a finely made carrera marble staircase. Your vital windows become light reflecting its varied colors. You can find religious paintings, sculptures, among objects of fine silver in a small chapel. The original parts as a whole are of great beauty. The central courtyard between the next section of the mansion shows objects with shell applications download, Japanese lacquer ware, the piano and items of the family of Osma. The next section you leads to a third stay where you can see priceless objects of silver and gold from the private collection of Pedro de Osma. It is a beautiful place with mirrors of water and huge Palm trees in its central courtyard. A wonderful experience.
