  • An astonishing collection and display of the many cultures and eras of pre Colombian Peruvian art. Mostly ceramics of course, but also superb ancient textiles and painting as well. There are...  more »
  • The MALI museum is not as dazzling as the Museo Larco, but nevertheless warrants an excellent rating. The galleries are arranged chronologically, starting with extensive displays from the...  more »
  • I could spend all day looking at the wonderful collections --- the pre-columbian collection is just amazing --- absolutely amazing. The rapid shift in style following the Spanish Conquest and the...  more »
  • Super cool art museum, well worth a visit particularly with the student discount. The layout is mostly chronological, and works are well-curated with appropriate context and documentation. There is something for everyone here, from pre-colonial works through modern art. I spent about 2.5 hours here at the permanent collection, which felt just right. From what I saw, the (included) tours are very good as well. Highly recommended.
  • The museum has very few works to admire. I do not recommend the trip and the cost is 30 soles for one floor of exhibits. The bottom floor has basically nothing. What was advertised was Yoko Ono photos which were not any photos of anything. Anyways the place needs more things to see.
  • We just could not get in. you are not allowed to bring bottles and food inside and they do not have storage or wardrobe. so if you are having your backpack with water bottle, you automatically cannot enter in. If you want to come, come with no belonging s. Personnel on entry also physically search you and they do not speak English.
  • Considering the price to see the art work, it needs a little bit more.
  • Big admission price- small collection of BFA final project art. Mario Testino much better!
