  • Beautiful church that mixes different styles. Outdoor granite gives only a glimpse of the baroque sculptures that we find inside, where you can admire several beautiful and impressive altars. The building houses a large Silver Cross, right by entering.

  • Spectacular basilica of Baroque Churrigueresque style, very well maintained. Incredible pieces of art virreynal takes care within it. It is frequented by devotees of the magpie father whose remains are located on the floor of the Church. A weekend or week-day night is recommended over to meet him.

Where to stay in Lima

One of Peru's most expensive destinations, Lima offers accommodations that range from modern hotel high-rises to family-run guesthouses. Most visitors stay in Barranco, Miraflores, or San Isidro, three of the city's safest and prettiest neighborhoods, which offer a good selection of budget lodgings. For something truly authentic, look for hotels located in restored mansions, many of which offer pleasant rooms overlooking manicured enclosed gardens, ideal for enjoying romantic meals or hosting small private parties.
