Dedalo Market, Lima

(4.6/5 based on 110+ reviews on the web)
Indulge in a bit of bohemian retail therapy at Dedalo Market, set in a relaxed plaza and specializing in handmade and artisan gifts, from artwork to jewelry. You won't find the usual souvenirs here (barely an Incan or heritage piece in sight); instead, you can choose from a wide array of elegant stone and wood carvings and colorful blown glass vases. You can try your hand at bargaining, though prices are pretty much fixed and you may come away disappointed. Put Dedalo Market and other Lima attractions into our Lima trip itinerary maker, and watch your holiday take shape.

  • We went to this shop after we visited las Pallas. It's great if you can go to both, they are a few blocks from each other. This shop has more modern hand crafts and it's huge. There is a lot to choose...  more »
  • I'm going every quarter and there is always news, stylized crafts, jewelry, always interesting exhibitions, café and good atmosphere. Is located close to other galleries, so that is part of a good run. Ma.Elena, owner simpatiquisima and nice knowing that give work and opportunity to more than 1,000 artisans, is worth.

  • One of the spaces of art and exhibition and sale most special of Lima, we loved the collection of Princess jewelry, articles of local art and Peruvian designers. Highly recommended and also a nice coffee and rich piqueitos!

  • Great store with a great variety of items. This is a good place to purchase unique items for your home. The staff was friendly, although there were a couple of times when I felt as if I was being followed as I shopped. I hope I was mistaken.
  • Great, feel good art store with a diverse range of Peruvian art. Not to mention a quaint courtyard with a great coffee shop.
  • Beautiful things for sale by contemporary Peruvian artisans. This is the place to go for unique gifts and pieces for yourself. Fun place to shop and spend time sitting in the courtyard drinking tea or espresso. Highly recommend.
  • Amazing collection of art and crafts. High prices but excellent quality. Great layout weaving through an old mansion.
  • I enjoyed every visit - always seeing something I didn't the time before. Very talented people and artistic gifts. It's more like visiting an art gallery where everything is for sale!
