  • This was a great experience! We booked a chocolate making class that included brief history/education of the plant & choosing, roasting, peeling & grinding our own chocolate to make a variety of beverages. Next we chose a mold & chocolate type [dark, milk, white] to create our own to take home. While our creations chilled, we tried a variety of products made at the facility including chocolate spreads & flavored pisco. There is also a gift shop with a large variety of snacks & other items with chocolate such as lotion [ which smells great & makes your hands so soft!] I would definitely visit this or any other location in the future.
  • What a great little place. It is a chocolate shop with a small museum dedicated to the production of chocolate. There is a workshop that you can attend that seemed expensive at first until you take it and realize it's quite involved. I really learned a lot of new information regarding the history and preparation of chocolate. In the workshop, you start with the raw cocao bean, roast them, and separate the beans, grind them into a paste and prepare different drinks from scratch.. From cocao tea, to the original style of hot chocolate, and the more modern Spanish variation. You also very to pour your own chocolates with a variety of fillings ranging from ground Coca leaves, to gummy bears. I did the workshop with my 8 and 11yo kids and they loved it. It is a unique experience
  • Nice seeing the colourful history of chocolate, took some chilli and Brazil but chocolate home. Cocoa tea was cool 👍🏽
  • Wonderful small class. Very fun and informative.
  • Some knowledge about chocolate was learned but better than that is how good it tasted

Where to stay in Lima

One of Peru's most expensive destinations, Lima offers accommodations that range from modern hotel high-rises to family-run guesthouses. Most visitors stay in Barranco, Miraflores, or San Isidro, three of the city's safest and prettiest neighborhoods, which offer a good selection of budget lodgings. For something truly authentic, look for hotels located in restored mansions, many of which offer pleasant rooms overlooking manicured enclosed gardens, ideal for enjoying romantic meals or hosting small private parties.
