Interesting place to visit, however very quickly. This is a library located in an old railway station. The place is frequented by students who spend their time focusing on studying or reading.

We entered almost by chance and leave rather than compliant s have visited. We met Peruvian authors, such as former boxer Luis Hernández, and part of his work, as well as other Peruvian writers so far unknown to us. The writing on the walls and ceilings of the House remembering phrases or passages of some of those works, provides the place, more poetry that already contains. It deserves to be visited. The entrance is free. The guided visit think we pay.

House in the neighborhood of the Palace of Government of Peru, the most interesting is the machine of printing inside.

It's nice to see the honoring of one's literary greats in a museum. The Nobel prize winner, Mario Vargas Llosa gets pride of place along with a about a dozen others. This building was originally the train station of Lima.

You can read books here for free, attend workshops for free, and take some courses for that same fee here as well. My only complaint is that I can no longer take the train here (it used to be Lima's main and only train station for a long time before becoming what it is now, though, admittedly, no one took the train anymore, but I'm still salty about it, so 4 stars it is)

The Literature House of Peru(The Peruvian Literate house), a wonderful place with great indoor architecture with tons of books.

While I arrived before it was open the building immediately strike me due to its design

Where to stay in Lima

One of Peru's most expensive destinations, Lima offers accommodations that range from modern hotel high-rises to family-run guesthouses. Most visitors stay in Barranco, Miraflores, or San Isidro, three of the city's safest and prettiest neighborhoods, which offer a good selection of budget lodgings. For something truly authentic, look for hotels located in restored mansions, many of which offer pleasant rooms overlooking manicured enclosed gardens, ideal for enjoying romantic meals or hosting small private parties.
