  • House in the neighborhood of the Palace of Government of Peru, the most interesting is the machine of printing inside.

  • Next to the Government Palace, at the end of the street which is the right of those in front of him, was an old train station transformed into cultural space honoring the writer Mario Vargas Llosa. Old building, well maintained, stained glass Windows, has a small library open to the public, temporary exhibitions and I imagine an old printing equipment, I think it's called a printer. Has free toilets. My ride was by the Free City Tour, which gives more time to this place than the city tour.

  • The Peruvian Literature House is an amazing space. With free entry has permanent and temporary exhibits on the Peruvian writers. I found a lot of people I didn't know. Has a small library. If you had a bookstore, would close with a golden key, I ended up buying books by an author I met at the show.

  • It's nice to see the honoring of one's literary greats in a museum. The Nobel prize winner, Mario Vargas Llosa gets pride of place along with a about a dozen others. This building was originally the train station of Lima.
  • You can read books here for free, attend workshops for free, and take some courses for that same fee here as well. My only complaint is that I can no longer take the train here (it used to be Lima's main and only train station for a long time before becoming what it is now, though, admittedly, no one took the train anymore, but I'm still salty about it, so 4 stars it is)
  • The Literature House of Peru(The Peruvian Literate house), a wonderful place with great indoor architecture with tons of books.
  • While I arrived before it was open the building immediately strike me due to its design
  • Great place!

Where to stay in Lima

One of Peru's most expensive destinations, Lima offers accommodations that range from modern hotel high-rises to family-run guesthouses. Most visitors stay in Barranco, Miraflores, or San Isidro, three of the city's safest and prettiest neighborhoods, which offer a good selection of budget lodgings. For something truly authentic, look for hotels located in restored mansions, many of which offer pleasant rooms overlooking manicured enclosed gardens, ideal for enjoying romantic meals or hosting small private parties.
