  • Water very hot, good for a day of rest after doing walk, recommended one hundred percent!

  • We arrived here and camped the night after hiking 30kms from Urubamba. It was a nice place to unwind and soak the sore muscles after hiking for so long. The locals are friendly, but if you're a wester...  more »
  • I went with a group of friends for 3 days and it was an excellent stay. We would have liked to stay one day more. We rented two rooms which are higher, they are very comfortable, the most remote and private, although the same is is a few meters from the swimming pools. We carry equipment for cooking. I don't know how is the restaurant service. The pools are various with different temperatures and sizes. To many people on Sunday but on Monday were virtually alone. It is a very good place to go to relax, family friends or couple, but it is not the kind of place that would go only

  • This place was surreal. After a three day Lares Trek hike, getting to this place was such an amazing surprise. Its a real treat for a city person. There is a trail across the river that gives great views of the valley and there is a cave with some bones in it that is cool to check out. To get there, climb the stairs across from the gift shop.
  • We rented a motorcycle and did a two day trip from Cuzco to Lares and back. This is not a "tourist" destination with trinkets. But if you are into back country adventures and meeting locals than this is a must adventure. The hot springs are amazing and open 24 hours without supervision. We stayed in a dirt floor tin hut room next to a roaring river and the warmest hand woven wool blankets you could ask for... all for the low price of 3 dollars and a candle to light the room. I can't wait to go back again one day. A word of caution: if you are not taking public transportation, the road is precarious and dangerous so please honk or be careful at every blind turn on the road.
  • This is a real hot springs, trust me you won't find anything like it anywhere, 10sol to enter, 50sol for the night in a good room
  • Seeing - and benefit values, very basic thermal bath complex.

  • This is a new installation. The municipality has worked to do a very good job. I went in August 2014 and the facilities were new. Baths very well. The thermal waters, spectacular. The fantastic view. We camped within the premises. They have light outputs and outlets. All very well!
