  • Without a doubt one of the best museums of the Peru and must-see. I went to Chiclayo, mainly by this museum. He said to me, when I travel outside the Peru first thing I do is to visit the museums, and I do not know one of the main of the Peru. Very well organized, it should be noted that the income is not permitted with cameras, cell phones or tablet; It is forbidden to take photos. The Museum has the shape of a truncated pyramid and shows what was the Mochica culture. The first is an interesting video, but I suggest at least have English subtitles (or headphones for translation into English, French and some other language according to the flow of foreign visitors). Another detail to improve is that the objects in the exhibition has his legend only in Spanish, should also be in English (as in the Bruning Museum). Lot of pectorals, ear rings, nose rings, etc., of gold, silver and other materials; mainly of the Lord of Sipan, the old Lord of Sipan and the priest. At the end of the tour there is a room with representation of the Lord of Sipan and other characters with light strokes and background music. Safety pin in Lambayeque - Chiclayo near - and where I recommend also visit the Bruning Museum and buy sweets typical of the region as it is "King Kong San Roque".
